Dr. Afsharzand was a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine from 1994-2017. She is a former group leader and is currently a part time clinical associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She established Cherry Hill Dental Excellence in 2004, providing general and specialty prosthodontic dental treatment in a unique clinical setting. She is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Cleft-Palate Craniofacial Association and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Afsharzand has two grown daughters, one just graduated college and her other is just starting college. Dr. Afsharzand continues to excel in her knowledge and skills by going to numerous continuing education courses. She enjoys painting, yoga, likes to travel in her free time and recently started pursuing scuba diving as a hobby.
Prosthodontists specialize in the restoration and replacement of teeth. These dental specialists receive two years of postdoctoral, specialized training. Rigorous training and experience provide prosthodontists with the special understanding of the dynamics of the smile, the preservation of a healthy mouth, and the creation of tooth replacements. Serving as the “architect” of a dental treatment plan, prosthodontists collaborate with general dentists, specialists and other health professionals to develop solutions to your dental concerns.
Casie has recently joined our amazing team bringing her nine years experience as a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Camden County Dental Hygiene program in 2013.
She enjoys being part of a team that provides such a high level of care and the latest cutting edge technology. She is a dedicated clinician and a team player who works well with her co-workers.
Outside of work, Casie enjoys traveling with her fiance and friends and being with her 2 dogs Mazzie and Zayla.
Andrea joined our team in 2023. She graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Health Sciences and brings over 25 years experience with her. She loves being part of a team that is staying at the forefront of technology by utilizing the latest tools and techniques to ensure the highest standard of care. Her top priority is providing a calm and relaxed experience, while putting patients at ease, by building trust and confidence during their time together.
